Accoya is a large, international wood manufacturer, that after 10 years, decided they want to take their brand and their company on to the next level. Accoya wanted to shift their focus from trade and distributors to also attract architects and consumers. To achieve this, their brand required an update that would appeal to this new audience without alienating their wide reaching distributor base. Finally, Accoya wanted ideas on how they could break into the US consumer market.

One of the key strategies to help raise awareness  in the consumer market was to introduce Accoya as an ingredient brand which would be utilised for the proposed consumer launch in the US.

By partnering with The Home Depot, one of the largest DIY chains in the US, Accoya could be quickly introduced to a large group of consumers. This would be done by using Accoya as a key ingredient in a new Home Depot in-house brand. To illustrate the concept we created ‘Haus’ - a portfolio brand that would sell high quality, ready made items featuring highly durable Accoya wood.
